Seeing coexistence through your eyes
We invite photographers, professionals and amateurs alike, to capture the real-world relationships between people, landscapes, and large carnivores. The images can reflect moments of harmony, tension, adaptation, or quiet presence, but always grounded in authenticity, not symbolism or activism.
We encourage you not to send many pictures.
Rather, choose those that carry deep personal meaning or insight
Each photo must be submitted to the contact e-mail address with:
- A one-sentence caption describing the moment or story behind the image
- Up to 10 sentences description highlighting the meaning of the picture for you
- Author's full name and location
What we ARE looking for:
- Everyday landscapes where humans and carnivores overlap
- Signs of presence: tracks, habitat, co-use of space
- Infrastructure, fences, coexistence strategies
- Livestock, shepherds, forest edges, wild spaces
What we ARE NOT looking for:
- Overly symbolic or emotional imagery
- Activist messages or graphic depictions
- Zoo or captive animals
Selected photos will be:
- Featured on SESCARNIVORE website and in project communications
- Fully credited to the author
